This policy explains what personal data we process when operating the website, for what purpose and on what legal basis, for how long, and what rights you have.

What data we process

Contact: if you email us, we process your name, email address and the content of your message. Purpose: answering your enquiry and keeping in touch. Legal basis: responding to your enquiry and preparing a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest (point (f)). Retention: until the matter is closed, and thereafter no longer than the statutory limitation period.

Log data: for technical reasons the server records the IP address, time and browser type of requests. Purpose: operation, security, abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: a short, technically justified period.

Web analytics: with your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures traffic in anonymised form. Purpose: improving the website. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the cookie bar and withdrawable at any time. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

Cookies

The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for operation; analytics and embedded-content cookies are activated only with your consent. The detailed list and settings are in the Cookie Policy.

Recipients and processors

Google: Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console are provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC as processors. Google Search Console measures the website's search performance in aggregate form and does not place cookies on the visitor's device.

LinkedIn: on the home page we embed We-Know's LinkedIn posts. When the embed loads, LinkedIn may set its own cookies; this happens only after your consent.

We disclose data to authorities only where required by law.

Transfers to third countries

Some processing by Google and LinkedIn may involve transfers outside the European Union (typically to the United States). These providers operate under safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses (SCCs).

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to request rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to request data portability. You may withdraw consent-based processing at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
